WOWSA Presents: Empowered Women Chip In: With over 20 women attending, the WOWSA Empowered Women Event was a great success with all attendees having an informative, fantastic evening. A special thank you to our featured speaker Laura May Culver who spoke about the Power of Joy and how it can transform your results and change your life for the better. The Tipsy Fox in Arthur served a delicious meal and provided a perfect setting for the evening. 88.7 The River hosted a Trivia portion which was a fun way to end the evening. We look forward to seeing everyone at the next WOWSA event.
February 11, 2025 A special International Women's Day celebration is happening in Neustadt on March 5, ahead of the official International Women’s Day on March 8. The event, a networking opportunity and celebration of women in business, is organized by six local municipalities in partnership with Connecting Women of Wellington and Saugeen Area, Saugeen Connects, and SEDC. It will take place at the Neustadt Community Hall from 6-9 p.m. The evening will feature inspiring guest speakers, including keynote speaker Melanie Needham. Tickets are $30 and include a full dinner, with a licensed cash bar available. Tickets can be purchased online eventbrite.
